Some new friends of mine from work are going to be going here to this restaurant in a few days. I’m looking forward to it.

I’m always down for a good meal, and lately with all the cleaning in my house and organizing, etc. I’ve been really tired…and hungry!

Moving to Columbus, Ohio

So, life isn’t always easy. Recently, a new job forced me to move to Columbus, Ohio. So far Columbus seems like a decent place to live. I’m from Kentucky, so I’m familiar with the Midwest and all of that and the type of culture we live in.

Bottom line, moving is never easy.

I’m getting the hang of the town and trying my best. But guess what, the very first week I’m in my new house, I have a big problem. Yep, spiders. I guess since the house has been vacant for a long time…I mean, it is what it is. So, what did I do? I called an exterminator. I’m not going to deal with it myself, that is for sure. I hate spiders. They freak me out.

So, the next day at work I talked to one of my new friends I’ve met. Her name is Michelle, and she is friendly. I asked her if she had new of a company that could treat pests. She said she knew of a company since her boyfriend who was in property management.

A few minutes later, hooray, she gave me this company for pest control in Columbus.

So, my review of them was positive. The tech was friendly, on time, and he didn’t try some high pressure sales thing to get me into a contract. Now, I did end up signing up for a contract because he indicated that it would make sense for my situation. So, that is what I will be doing.

The other thing about Columbus is everyone seems to care about college football. Everyone is talking about how good the Ohio State football team will be. I guess they went undefeated last year. I’ve only watched college sports when my wildcats were in the tournament…I’m from Kentucky. But, I guess it is a big deal. Some friend of mine—new ones I have met—have told me to get ready for tail gating and partying. So, I’m ready!

Cheers all, talk soon!
